APPALLING (LACK OF) SERVICE

I went on Friday (10/5/13) night to open a new account. Malcom said he'd phone me on Saturday to let me know if my account has been approved. After receiving no phone call from him, I phoned (I was on hold for about an hour in total). Eventually, when I speak to him he says there's a problem with head office, but he will phone me 1st thing on Monday (13/5/13). Of course he hasn't (which I knew would happen & I indicated such to him but he assured me he would). So I start phoning @ 3pm. I must have been on hold for a total of 45min (I'd hang up and try again). The RUDE receptionist then says to me that she can't continue to let me hold, Malcom is busy with other customers & they are just as important as I am and a few more words are exchanged and she hangs up. EXCUSE ME?!? -a customer SHOULD be treated as if they are the ONLY CUSTOMER for the day-that is good service! I DO NOT NEED FLACK FROM A RECEPTIONIST & I DO NOT NEED A LESSON IN CUSTOMER CARE FROM SOMEONE WHO CLEARLY HAS NO IDEA!! Cancel the new contract-I HAVE NOT SIGNED ANYTHING.I'LL GO ELSEWHERE, WHERE CUSTOMERS' BUSINESS IS WANTED & they're not treated like Autopage is doing them a favour.
