Settlement letter takes 6 weeks after the payment

I had a Vodacom account, i got handed over. I paid the debt thru vvm lawyers, on the 4th of may 2013 but I cannot be issued with a settlement/paid up letter because they say Vodacom didn't close my account. Please close my account and give me my letter ASAP, i can't be held up for six weeks. Affected number Cellphone number0827674896.
