I cannot get 'Waiting Call' and '3 way calling' to work. I have a Motorola cordless phone supplied by telkom. The 'Ringback Service' works so the 'Register /Recall' button works.
After explaining my story to a lady named Ribetsi she put me through to Pearl who seem 'uninterested'. She did not know what 'STAR66HASH' was. What irks me is that after reading her what the different services was on offer, and after all this time she asked me what services I have. I told her that she should be telling me! Only then did she take my home number. After activating 'waiting call' using 'STAR43HASH', she told me that it was not activated. How does this happen? She also told me to go in-store to activate 'Three-way Calling'.
A few pensioners approached me to help them out so I have made a few calls to Telkom with little success. When I told her this and asked if I need to put my concerns on Hellopeter, she put the phone down. How can Telkom NOT TRAIN their people and explain to them that they offer a public service? This is unacceptable. Please get the 'waiting call' and 3-way call options working. When one is busy on the phone and someone calls, one cannot pick up the 2nd call using Recall.
