Pathetic connection speeds

I have an 8ta 10GB/month contract which has bee working fine up until about 2 weeks ago, Now all of a sudden my connection has become increasingly intermittent with regular disconnects, even though my connection manager states that it is connected to the internet with full HSPA reception. When doing a Speedtest, my average download speed used to be about 7-9MB/s sometimes going as high 12MB/s but for the last 2 weeks or so my average download speed has dropped to 0.8MB/s with my upload speed dropping to 0.08MB/s.

I don't understand how a service which used to run so smoothly can bow be in such o poor state all of a sudden. If this continues, I will be forced to cancel my contract and seek a better service provider who is able to maintain a certain level of service delivery and who will not become complacent.
