I was due for an upgrade with my cellphone on the 18th of April. I applied for the upgrade and number portability as I wanted to change network providers. I was notified that I could collect my new phone a couple of days later, which I did. When enquiring as to when I coulda use the new phone, I was told by a consultant the she would submit an email to head office requesting that the number portability be activated - it couldn't be activated while I was in the store as it was a Saturday and the staff responsible for doing this did not work on weekends. I would be able to use my new phone on Tuesday.By Wednesday, the phone was still not working, I went into the store again to follow up. I was given the same response and told that as it was a public holiday, no one could assist but my query would be logged first thing on Thursday (2 May) Morning. After phoning numerous times on Thursday afternoon and not being able to contact the branch as the phones rang constantly, I left a message for the regional manager, who has still not phoned me back. I have found this service appalling and shocking and if I could get out of my contract with Nashua Mobile I would.
