What do you need to do to get an upgrade

I approached the MTN store in Bonaero Park on the 21st of April so that I could upgrade my sons cellular phone. my son wanted a HTC desire which the gentleman that assisted me said there was no stock but will take my details and phone me on Wednesday 25th April. Well the 25th came and went. I then went back to the store on Thursday 26th April and spoke to the gentleman. He then informed me they still dont have stock but then requested my details again to be written down which I did. He then informed me that the manager/owner of the store will be in on Saturday the 28th Of which he will discuss with her and phone me back. Guess what today is the 4th of May and have still not had a phone call. Please just tell me if you as MTN dont want my business I have moved mine and my wifes contract cause of bad service and it seems I must move my sons too.
