Disgusted!!

I cancelled my contract with vodacom to move over to cell c and before i even signed any contract I requested them to order the phone i wanted as they did not have it in stock. I was told deliveries take place to the store on a wednesday and friday. This is now the second week and still they did not receive the stock. When i called them i was told by the guy who places the orders that he has ordered 5 of the same phones the beginning of April already and he has not received even one. What i dont and cant understand is this is a new phone just released... why does it take so long to get stock?? Its a good thing i never signed any contract otherwise i would be paying for something i dont even have. Can someone please explain to me what the problem is because apparently not even the inventory manager knows when the stock will arrive.
