So, I gave in my Blackberry 9300 on the 28th of March at the Menlyn branch. They were offline, but said that they would sms me the job number. I got the job number on the 5/04/2013. They then phone me 2 weeks later to say that the repairs on my phone will cost roughly R1200 (although the phone only cost brand new R1800) and although my phone is under warranty, it was voided due to liquid damage. I asked the lady to please get me the report and proof that the phone had liquid damage as the phone has never been placed in any kind of liquid (its actually a phone my mom use and it still looks brand new, the way she takes care of it.) I then got an sms to say the quote was rejected, no other information. On the 16th I got an sms to say the phone is in transit to the Menlyn branch. I have numerously phoned, just to have the phone ringing with no answer. I dont have a phone, I dont have an answer to the liquid damage allegation, and I dont know where my phone is. If Vodacom head office is in Midrand, and my phone has been in transit for 3 weeks, I assuming that they are using a snail... And one must wonder why you should first complain to get some kind of service from this company...
