In 2006 when I was studying, I went to Virgin Active with a friend. While we were there a trainer called Lloyd wanted me to enter into a contract cause they had a promotion running at the time. I was studying and not working at the time so he said I must ask my mother if she can sign as asurety but I refused and told him that my mother was a pensioner he then suggested that I sign the contract since I would be 21 years in a weeks time, he put the date of my birthday on the contract and I signed. I only went to the gym a few times and I tried to pay for those times then I stopped going to the gym, 2 or 3 years after that I get calls from debit collectors saying that I owe Virgin Active, I asked them why are you only calling me now you didn't even try to find out why I wasn't going to the gym, if I was sick or still alive. I explained to them what happened and said that they should send me my contract so that they can see what date was used on that contract and that it was void. I never heard anything from them after that. so they started sms'ing me again. I want to speak to someone who will be able to solve this issue and clear my name as this is affecting my credit profile.
