Being robbed by a gym i never use

I would really like to have some assistans in cancelling a contract that i have with planet fitnes, due the fact that when i had signed up for it it was because they were offering a 24hour gym service which worked well for me for convenience purposes as i work shifts and only available during late hours - I have been trying to cancel this contract for the longest time since early last year, even as far as wanting to just pay off their ridiculous cancelation fee and yet they still never got back to me to get it cancelled - I have sent countless complaints and yet my voice is still not being heard and these people keep taking my money. Please help me as i have now run out of options and really feel like i am being robbed.
