Scholar Dependants - need own contract

Be warned that when your dependent turns 18, albeit that they are still a scholar and one of your dependants, their access card will be blocked and they will be removed from your dependent's list, this means that you will be forced to either take out another gym contract at R6000 per annum for that child, or leave the child outside!
The child cannot apply for a student card yet, because they are not yet studying at a Tertiary institution!
The club will merely insist that the scholar needs their own club contract - just like that, even though they are still scholars and one of your dependants.
so its going to cost you R6000 a year for that scholar!
the club is inflexible and refuses to discuss the matter as its their 'policy'!
I WILL be cancelling my own and my wife's contracts with Virgin Active forthwith!!!
