Third pair of items at this gym

I previously left a pair of cycling gloves and a pair of running shoes in the gym by mistake and when I realized my mistake went to look for these. Both times nothing was handed to the managemernt. Both items were very warn already, so it was just a shlep to go and replace them.
Yesterday I left my almost brand new running shoes of R1000 in the change room (the ones I bought not even a month ago to replace the previous pair as per above)
I realized it 2 hrs later & knowing what happened previously, rushed there as fast as I could.
The desk staff and Supervisor Kevin were very helpfull to assist in looking for the shoes, but we could not find anything.
I cannot believe that people would want to take someone else's shoes!
It is a size 12! and dirty and stinking!
Same thing has happened to two of my friends using this same gym.
The cleaning staff can't be trusted!
I spend a lot of money per month to make use of this gym.
I want a serious apology from Virgin Active and a refund for the pair of shoes that I will have to go and buy today to replace the ones.
They seriously need to address this issue of untrustworthy staff!!
Perhaps reward them handing in items.
