I CONTINUE TO BE DEBITED AT THE WRONG RATE

I have a contract for a Local Single Premiere membership, but since November 2012 I have been debited every month at a Family membership rate. I first reported this to Planet Fitness 5 months ago, and have been chasing them continuously ever since but they simply do not help. I've sent copies of my contract and statements proving the error to them, but still they do not respond. I've contacted head office, the club accounts manager to the branch manager (Bradley Emmett) and they all pay me lip service, saying they will get back to me asap and let me know what is going on. To this day I am still chasing them and still waiting for a response.

I believe their modus operandi is to wait until you set a lawyer on them before they will help you out, which says a lot about their customer relations strategy.

Looking at the hundreds of similar complaints on hellopeter and in the newspapers recenlty, it may be time for members to stand together and take legal class action against this monster?
