Debiting acc 5 months after contract cancellation

Notice to cancel the contract on the 25th of October 2012 was served, cancelled as a right in terms of the CPA. Response was received with instruction to administrators to cancel.5 months later (today) i get a debit from my account amounting to R600?! no one can explain what has happened to my cancellation.administration is very poor, would not recommend the gym to anyone, i expect a reversal of the transaction immediately, and a formal apology due to admins malfunction.
