CLOSED ACCOUNTS SOLD TO DEBT COLLECTORS

I had a gym contract which expired seven years ago and I did not renew but since last year I have been receiving calls and letters of demand from debt collectors appointed by planet fitness to harass and intimidate me.
I have always explained to them that I did not renew my contract with them but they demand some payment from me.
I really need them to stop now as I have not been using their gym for the past seven years and I do not owe them money.
