In general, I've been very pleased with VA and kudos to Mulalo at Sunninghill club for her patience and trying to assist me temporarily while the Collections team in CT, aren't bothered with customer services.
After 7 days I'm waiting for Jabu and/or Abraham from the Collections Agent department in CT nr. Tel: 021 684 3011 to advise me what is happening with my membership. The VA system states that I have an account which is in arrears.
To clarify:
-I've had a national membership since 2007 with VA.
- I've never had a direct account with VA, all my payments was done by Discovery Vitality because my membership is included with the medical aid.
- I've been on this medical aid for 7 years, no changes and no direct charges.
- According to Jabu, my premium account was upgraded in June 2012. The only thing that happened in that time is that discovery had to re-activate my medical aid because of banking details changes.
- no other members are associated with my Discovery Vitality, I have always been the main and only member since 2007.
- I've also requested the VA accounts department to confirm that they have not logged this against the credit bureaus.
