From "secure" locker at Old Ed's Gym

On 12 January 2014, my son locked his tog bag in a locker at the gym while he trained. His iphone cell phone was zipped in a side pocket of his bag. When he came back to the locker it was still locked but on opening it found the zips on his bag open and his iphone cell phone missing. He reported the of the phone to the reception at the gym. I spoke to the manager and emailed him twice. On speaking to several other gym members and placing an advert on a community website it is apparent that from "secured" lockers at Old Ed's gym is an ongoing problem. Members are advised not to leave valuables in the lockers and yet running shoes and clothing have also been removed from the lockers as well as cell phones, wallets and money removed from wallets. Considering the fact that this is an ongoing issue and little or nothing is done to either warn members that it is happening or sort the problem permanently, Virgin Active Old Ed's should be held liable.
