Quoting contracts

I was phoned by a consultant and offered a contract in December for a reduced amount per month for me and my wife, which I came into the gym to discuss the contract and said I would be back in a few days as I need to cancel my other gyms contract. I came in a few days later to sign for the contracts and was told "sorry but deal only for upfront payment".
I got phoned again today at about 15h00 and offered the same price again for me and my wife and I confirmed on the phone that I am only interested if it is a monthly payment. The consultant confirmed this. I went in at 18H30 and was told again that this deal was not available but I can pay upfront or take a more expensive option and only use the gyms off peak.

I have canceled my gym contract at another gym based on the initial quote.

All I ask is that the contract quoted to me is upheld.
