No Response from Planet Fitness on Cancellation

I was double billed in November and called the Soneike branch to inquire, after 3 days of phones just ringing I eventually got a response but no one could explain what happened. The lady I spoke to took my contact details and said she would find out and call me back, a month later I am stil waiting for a calI. I then went to the bank to reverse the transaction. In December my account was debited 3 times, and I called numerous times and when I got a response they could not tell me what happened. I called the 0113271808 number which should be the head office and still no explanation was given, instead they told me "I guess its for gym maintenance" which I was not informed of. I then asked about cancelling the contract and was told that they would need to calculate the amount as they cannot charge me fully for a service they have not provided yet. I was told to send an email, which I did, its been 16 days and I have had no response even after I sent a follow up email. I have been trying to call the head office for 3 working days now, and the phone just rings and rings.

Planet Fitness is a pathetic gym, I would not recommend them at all as they have no courtesy towards their customers
