Pathetic customer service-refused entry of guest

Having renewed several contracts, I have been a loyal member of planet fitness for some 7 years now and have had a somewhat good experience with the customer service received to date. However the events of yesterday has left me with a very bitter and frustrating experience. I made a booking to use the squash courts at the Fourway's branch yesterday (17 December 2013) and indicated at the time that I would be bringing in a guest. When I signed up for my current contract over 3 years ago the terms and conditions included me bringing in any new guests but limited to 1 entry for each individual guest per annum. I could understand this measure was put in place to avoid the same guest gaining entry on several occasions in a calender year or 12 month period. Records will show that I have not taken ANY guests in the last 2-3 years. Despite me indicating my intention to bring a guest in with me and the reception confirming that if I had not brought any guests in the year that it would be fine, Elijah and Shaun (Manager) refused access to my guest unless a R150 payment was made which is ludicrous. This created alot of frustration and wasted our time and cost in driving to the gym for nothing!
