Unfortunately I set my inContact sms limit to R250, because for 5 months now Virgin Active has been debiting my bank account for R209 per month under the radar, this after I asked to cancel my affiliation with them. For some inexplicable reason my account was debited with R419 this month, and once I got the SMS I set out to investigate this. I was informed by Virgin Active that they can see my membership was cancelled but my wife's membership was not. They will have to go listen to the call and this will take 48hours. Well, it's been a week now... I contacted them today, only to be informed that there has been no investigation, no progress on the matter at all because the lady who was assigned on my case is now on maternity leave. So if I hadn't contacted them would this matter only been dealt with 4 months from now?? Bottom-line: it looks like they're trying to ignore my request AGAIN, and I'm still out-of-the-money for more than R1000 for a service which my family was not using BECAUSE WE WERE UNDER THE IMPRESSION IT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. They had no authorization debiting my account and I would like all my money back since my cancellation notification! Absolutely pathetic!
