When does misinformation become a lie?

Planet Fitness Cobble Walk, Durbanville 'closed temporarily' to attend to some fire damage back in January of 2013. My wife received an sms announcing that the gym was to reopen in September 2013 and that the wait would be worthwhile. Here we are in November with the damage repaired but gym still closed and with no sign of it reopening. So, what is the truth? Is Cobble Walk closed forever? Planet Fitness appear at best to be confused, at worst to be stringing members along. When will the gym reopen? Some honesty is needed here!
