I signed up with Planet Fitness in 2010 (which I regret doing). I was told by the sales consultant that I need to provide discovery with a sales code within 14 days in order for me to active the gym membership. A months has past until my debit order went off my bank account. The amount was for R250.00, which was not agreed. I spoke to the Manager (Angelo) at Planet Fitness and He assured me that this issue will be fixed. I showed him my bank statement and provided him with a letter as confirmation.
Since then I received no call from him.
I logged a complaint in 2011 on Hellopeter as my issue was not resolved and monies of R250.00 was being deducted from my bank account. I also stopped using the gym because this whole issue made me unhappy.

After logging this complaint, I received a call from there call center. She seem to not understand my query but then kept on telling me the same thing over and over.. "We cannot cancel you contract because you agree to the contract" told her to cancel the auto renewal. This was not done at all.

Today I got a sms from my standard bank account, the amount of R250.00 was deducted from my account! What the F is Planet Fitness staff doing?!
