Non disclosure/trouble canceling

Before bodyflo opened in edenvale they had a R99 special for the first 500 clients that sign up (the special is still on 2 years later) me and my bf signed up in december and bodyflo would only open in april the next year. we signed up in front of checkers greenstone crescent. As per our sign up its a monthly contract and we can cancel at anytime giving them 30 days notice. Last year when i phoned to cancel they said i need to pay R300 cancelation fee? For what? i advised the lady that this was not explained she said read your contract, i said im unhappy because the sales person did NOT mention a cancelation fee. I tried returning the payment from the bank with no luch as the bank cannot return it. The bank advised me to change my account as this was ilegal as the customer has a write to return any payments from their bank account. Also i am still waiting for cancelation form that was suppose to be sent to me.
