Unacceptable Gym Rule implemented

I have recently started training at your Durban Westville branch after relocating from Johannesburg. I am a premier member and have trained at quite a few gyms both in Durban and Johannesburg. My complaint is the fact that the Westville branch has now implemented a rule that people are not allowed with their bags on the gym floor which is not a national rule. This frustates me as only certain people are told to not bring in their bags as my friend and I have walked around while the Virgin active employee is walking around telling people about this rule. I have my personal belongings in my bag which is not a big bag as well. I will not utilize your lockers as Virgin Active does not accept liability if my possessions go missing.

My friend uses a virgin active bag that was issued to him however now he cannot bring your merchandise to the floor. This is quite frustrating to be told this whenever I'm at the gym. Kindly advise if your contract that was issued to me states that this rule has to complied to.

I go there to train after a hards days work and go home. I do not need to be told every session to stop bringing my bag to the floor.
