Shocking Admin, Poor Customer Care

I'm beyond upset with the service at Planet Fitness in Fourways... for the last 12 months i've been back and forth updating my banking details because some admin didnt upload them correctly to begin with which meant my monthly debit was not going through. 6/7 trips later and confirmation that all was updated i get an sms that my account has been sent to their collection agency. A week ago I went back there to try sort this issue that i've been trying to sort for the last 12 months - fill up more paper work only to get a call yesterday to ask me to fill the very same paperwork..WTH? So i call the gym and ask to speak to the manager (Annelize) who has no clue who i am, this after sending her an email last Thursday and CC'n a whole lot of other admin personnel asking about the status of my account update... WTHx2? After talking to her and no empathy on her end she promises to get back to me today... and guess what, no word from them... WTHx3? So I've just called there, phone rings forever and I'm told Annelize is not available..!! If i wasn't locked in for another 2 years I would cancel this contract without thinkin twice... does the CPA allow me to opt out penalty free?
