Planet Fitness is! I canceled my contract with them last month and agreed on a settlement fee of R591- which was suppose to be paid before the 18th of July, which I did. I was surprised to get an sms from my bank last week- they had deducted money from my account, despite the fact that I cancelled my contract and paid the settlement fee. Their consultant, Mpho Ramokopelwa (a good person in a wrong company) told me that I had to pay the instalment even if I have cancelled my contract. So how could one possible be charged for a service cancelled? I will spread the word- PLANET FITNESS IS!
