Joined gym under false pretences

I've been looking for a gym where me and my 6 year old daughter could excercise... no equipment... just doing classes to get our heart rate racing. I telephonically enquired if my 6 year old can join me in studio (Zumba, aerobics, etc) who ensured me it will be 100%, all I need to do is bring along her birth certificate for enrolment. Me and my daughter joined Virgin active on Saturday 13 July... jey!

Week 1 went great! We were having a ball! Week 2 day 1 - disaster! During our Zumba class the Fitness manager stormed in, stopped the class and demanded that all kids (about 10) is to exit the studio before the class will continue.

Apparently no children is allowed to exercise in the studio??? Since Tuesday (23/7) I've been trying to sort this. Did not get any feedback from club management until I logged complaint on Virgin Active Help line.

Received feedback from club manager today - 'Sorry for wrong info provided from sales personnel, to make you feel better we will give you one month free'. I do not want to continue at that club but they do not want to cancel my membership, 5 day cooling off period has lapsed! They let me join under false pretences!!
