Bring in the PoPI Act!

Virgin demands my bank details even if I'm paying cash for their services. This is an unnecessary invasion of my privacy and will soon be illegal in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act. Not to mention their notorious of monies not owed to them, straight out of peoples bank accounts. I'd have to have rocks in my head to give them my bank details.

Not preparing for the immanent implementation of a consumer protection law shows just how anti-consumer they are: abusing consumers by insisting on excessively one-sided contracts right up to the time when that abuse becomes illegal. I'm going to look at other gyms.
