Useless contract

Applied for a contaract in October 2011. Been into the club twice since joining.
Have requested on a regular basis for someone to send me a settlement letter as i am unable to use the gym as i no longer stay in the area. - no gym in the edenvale area either. I am wasting money every month on something i do not even use. i have been sent from piller to post, from club admin to Head Office admin department. Not one person in the whole company is capable of giving me an answer!!!
Went into the club to request a cancelation/settelment some form of assistance just to be told i cannot cancle my account as it is still within the two year contract.
Attempted to transefer the account to my uncle and was told i have to pay a R700 odd amount to let someone else use it. and actually bennifit from the poor service proided.
Can someone please tell me what can be done inorder to actually resolve this please!!!
