Edcon does not reply emails, no assistance!!!

Yesterday I emailed edcon johannesburg which is my closest headoffice as the edgards website states. The email was an inquiry on a debit order I requested on my account which was not taken, and I would like to know if the debit order is active and if so when will payment be taken, if not, what happened with my application?

My email was read as I have received a read receipt, but no response or reference was sent. I think this is unacceptable, how can one of your staff read an email and not respond whatsoever?

Here is the fun part, if you don't respond, you don't get payment, since I already went through the trouble of visiting my nearest edgards branch to complete the debit order form, went to my bank to get a statement which cost me money. So my point is, if someone in edgars or edcon did not do their job with filing my application for a debit order, I am not doing the whole thing again. So maybe your complaints department staff are more adequite than the email response staff.
