Pick 'n Pay
2 diffrent prices 2 diffrent stores but same RSP?

Shops, Products, Services

Good day. last week i complimented Pick n Pay Hazeldean and i still like their service. my question is that today i walk across the street to glen fair and buy boxer menthol, on the barcode it states R 17.99, on the pack it shows RSP R16.50. now at my pick n pay, which is about 4.7km away they charge me the RSP and the barcode states R16.50. how does that work? shouldnt all stores have more or less the same price? Hazeldean is the more expensive area and even from a logistics point of view would pay more for transport. how can these prices differ? i was late for a meeting so i didnt question it as its only R1.50 diffrence but if the RSP states the old price, shouldnt that mean its still old stock? i would like just to know why prices are not the same, and does the branch have control over stock items prices (not talking about special promotions)
