I think even snails move faste

I went to the Noordvaal branch in Madiba Street, Pretoria after work today to fill a script. I was 4th in line and was in the line for 30 minutes before being assisted. Upon reaching the counter my transaction was done on the computer and I was then told to stand aside so she could assist the next customer. I then waited another 10 minutes to get my medication. Its the first time that I have been there and seen this way of working. The lady doe sthe transaction, customers stand aside and a man fills the script at the nack. This wastes so much time and caused a lot of people to be irritated as you expect being assisted to completion once you get to the counter. Another concern is why during lunch times and after office hours there is only one person that fills scripts and two to assist people with self medication. Both lines were long and only 3 people were signed on while there was two at the back. this should really be managed more efficiently. Although Clicks is the closest pharmacy to my office I will from now on rather wait till the weekend when I can get to a Dischem where there is always enough staff to keep the line moving.
