False advertising or incompetence

I applied for a Woolworths Black Card last year and was rejected without any reason given even though I more than qualify for the advertised minimum criteria, and my credit standing is excellent (verified by a credit report from Trans Union). This was the the worst experience I have ever had with a financial services provider.
