What exactly are you protecting?

I totally get "Card Balance Protection", however, charging me for card balance protection when I don't have a balance, is like paying car insurance when you don't even have a car.

Last month I had to pay R11.85 to protect my zero balance. Woolworths decided the risk is too great on such a high balance and promptly increased it to R14.00 this month. The only balance needing protection now, is the balance from the card balance protection...

I refuse to pay it. Woolworths can credit my account.
