LEATHER LOUNGE SUITS BOSSE NOT UP TO STANDARD

Shops, Products, Services

I purchased a genuine leather reclining lounge suit from teds home stores in malvern almost a year ago. it is a beige/cream lounge. when i purchased the suit i insisted on genuine leather which was supposed to last for years. presently. the so called dye on the lounge suit is peeling off. when i called Ravi (the manager) at teds he told me straight away on the phine that we may have cleaned it with some kind of chemical. we are very particular with this suit since it cost us alot. from the time we had it we only used a damp cloth and water, as they told us to. eventually after many days after, he finally came home to inspect the lounge. first he said it was a chemical, that we used, then he told my wifre that she must have used scotchbrite to rub the lounge suits, then he said its hairgel (which no one at home uses), then he went on to say that its hairdye that could have reacted with the loune suit. he just went on with his guesses. eventually he told me that he would email his superiors and get an answer from them. days later he concluded his email to me by saying that the result of the leather dye stripping away is from a solvent based hair dye/ gel from the head.
