I visited your Tygervally branch on the 13th of April 2013. Excellent service and assistance by the gentleman at new account applications. I had an account years ago but did not use it, so it was placed in a dormant status. The gentleman took my details to open a new account and informed me that card division would only be able to assist me on the Monday (15 April 2013). Very happy potential customer - I just received excellent service!!! On Monday I received a call asking me for all my details again and then received a call within moments to inform me that I cannot afford an account due to my income. What a surprise! So I called your head office to enquire about this. I had to give my whole life history for the 3rd time! I felt like I was a criminal - as if the original info was false. I was also warned that it is a criminal offence to give false information! What a slap in the face!! I was informed that my account was provisionally approved, but it would take 24 hours to verify the details. Well its been 48 hours and I have heard nothing. I am so disappointed and am pretty sure some other retailer would appreciate my business!
