Irrepairable "Supercar" courtesy of Aucor!

Bought a car through Aucor's famous Supercar auction programme. I queried with the auction manager the origin of the car, and through the entire process he referred to a "bank", hence i accepted the car was sold due to bad debt. I have bought 6 cars on auction before, for own use, and i am fully conversant with the process and the risks. I picked up the car on a Saturday afternoon after the auction, and proceeded to repair the declared defects immediately. On the Sunday it came apparent that the car had major mechanical problems, was consuming lots of water and passed it through the exhaust. Th airbag light also came on, indicating the car was in an accident. I reported the problems on the monday and requested the sale to be cancelled. MrJacobs refused, since i did not notify him earlier of the problems (on a Sunday?). I now sit with a R200k car with a R100k repair bill, and have since established that the car came from a Gauteng dealership. Clear that the car was not salable due to the damage to it, so they decided to sell through Aucor, apparently an effective outlet for damaged and unserviceable goods!
