Declined Finance on auction vehicle

I bought a car from an auction. The car was in a SLIGHT bumper bash in the rear, only the rear bumper and the bootlid was effected. The damaged parts was replaced with new parts from the agents, the job was done by proffesional pannelbeaters. I drove the vehicle for 5 months and decided its time to sell it. Last week i advertised the vehicle, i took it to AA/DEKRA for a full 101 multipoint check plus a roadworthy.
I then got a buyer who applied for private to private finance via WESBANK. He was aproved for the price and the next monday (today) i received a call from a Mnr KIRBEN ABRAHAMS. He asked me to email him all the papers of the car, including the dekra etc. He also asked me to send prove of where i bought the vehicle. Long story short, i send him all the required documents. a While later he phoned very arrogantly and told me that the deal was off because WESBANK does not finance ANY car that was previously at ANY auction. How does this work? thousands of cars get sold weekly on auctions? Wesbank has even got their own auctions? i would understand that if the car was not 100%, but the warranty and dekra inspection etc are all in order? i will NEVER deal with WESBANK again!
