Bad Attitude when prices are queried

I walked out of Checkers Glenvista due to their bad attitude and terrible service. Their shelf talkers are not updated and when I get to the checkout and get charged more than the displayed price. The supervisor checks the price and says I must pay the higher price. That is the price. I left the goods and asked to see the store manager. I told him about my experience. He said he would deal with the 2 supervisors who were cheeky and were discussing me in their own language. He never offered to give me the goods at the correct price. Another till supervisor offered to charge me the correct price. I declined. I walked out and said I would never go back to the store. The manager never tried to stop me or take my details to give me feedback. I went into Checkers Columbine Crossing today to purchase the same goods. The price was incorrect in that store. I asked for the store manager. He's out. The food manager came to see me. I showed her the error. She never offered to refund me the difference. She walked away from me and left me standing at the checkouts. I had paid and called head office from the store. There seems to be no urgency in dealing with customer complaints. Really sad.
