I had taken my digital camera in for repairs about two months ago (3 Feb 2013) to the Sandton City branch. After being told it would take about a week, I was informed they were still waiting for parts every second week or so. What was supposed to take a week turned out to be 2 months. I was however kept informed by a lady who called me every two weeks. However, I was informed about a week ago that the camera was finally fixed. I advised I would pick it up when back in Jhb as I was in Cape Town that week. When I went to pick up my camera on 14 April, firstly it took the service agents a while to come out of the room where the repairs are held. In addition, the person behind the counter could not pick up the job details and I had to leave the camera again as I had been in a hurry. He was totally incompetent and needed to call the lady who dealt with my job card (who of course did not pick up her mobile as she was off this weekend. The service experienced was quite shocking. (The camera was is an Olympus VH70 with Job card JC00260002479).
