Airtime purchases

I just received my statement and
on the 27-03-2013 i ourchased an airtime voucher, a notification of the sms with a voucher number was promised yet i never received it, . because i was desparate for airtime, on that very same day i tried to buy the airtime via my fone again and i did recieve the airtime.

i would like to know why i was charged for airtime which i never received
