I had some difficulties with my Makro account. When I was on holiday, I bought a product in Makro Nelspruit on my account and returned it the next day, still sealed. They issued a credit note instead of crediting my account. But I couldn't find the credit note at all. With the Help of Nompumelelo from Makro Nelspruit, she was able to track the credit note on their system and she confirmed that it wasn't used. She requested Makro Springfield in Durban to assist me by crediting my account while she cancel the credit note from her side. Well, Makro Springfield was not willing to assist, they gave me a very bad attitude. I contacted, Makro Head office and I spoke to a very helpful gentleman by the name of Bjorn, I explained the scenario and he promised to assist. He kept in contact, sent me emails and he responded to my queries regarding my account. Together with Nompumelelo my issue was resolved. Bjorn and Nompumelelo, your customer services is excellent and professional. Thumbs up! As for Makro Springfield, you need to have a bowl of smiles mixed with a positive attitude every morning.
