Disappointing Nike service

To say that I'm disappointed with Nike service is an understatement. I wouldn't have expected the kind of service from such a reputable brand. I bought a Nike GPS running watch in September at the Rosebank Nike. The watch screen died about a month ago and that's when my nightmare began. I took the watch to Nike Concept store at The Glen shopping centre where I was promised feedback within 3 days. A week later I went to check on the progress of the watch and was advised that the watch was still sitting at the store waiting for "someone" from Nike to look at it but this person was on leave and the office was closed. I waited another week and a half before I got a call from The Glen store to come collect the watch, take it to Rosebank and have it replaced with a new one. I went to the store and nobody knew what I was talking about or where the watch was. About 10 minutes later I was given the watch and told to go to Rosebank, I asked if they can't replace the watch since they were also a Nike store and were told no. My question now is, had I bought the watch in Cape Town would I be expected to go all the way to have the watch replaced? That's disgusting customer service.
