Not updating my credit report

After being harrased by Edcon at the end of February I had some cash available to me. So I thought I would do the correct thing to do, and pay of my whole account. 4322 Rand was needed to settle my account and close it. So I paid the full amount with a smile. They even sent me a letter confirming that my account is fully paid and closed. But now more than a month later I pulled my transunion report and see that edcon still hasn't updated my credit record showing that I pay jet stores a monthly installment of 4322 which is killing my credit rating as I am now seen as over in debt. Please rectify this as soon as possible so that I can go on with my life.
