Management with no respect for staff

We were at the vanderbijl outlet this afternoon at the till paying for our items and a shop manager stood in the doorway shouting at a cleaning lady that she could take her stuff and get out the door if she didn't like what she was told. I find this kind of behaviour totally unacceptable and incredibly rude, especially in front of all the clients standing there With their purchases. What kind of manager talks to staff in that manner and tone? And in front of clents!?
