Went to Pav outlet on Thursday morning around 10am. First thing noticed - packers in every aisle, not easy to navigate. Once we had our purchases, what a mission to get to a teller. At the main section, only one teller with customers with packed trolleys waiting. One customer suggested we go to the express tills. There was the same issue - long queue and only one teller. My wife found some kind of supervisor to complain. He went off and over the intercom was calling for staff. In the adjacent managers office we saw the duty manager shovelling food in his face. Another member of staff came out and said they were changing shift. HUH? The shop has been open one hour and they are changing shift? Sounds like 24 carat BS. This lady then suggests we go next door to the bottle store to the till there. No improvement there. Bottles piled in front of the till and no space on the counter. Add to that the totally uninterested and uninspired surly till operator. Eventually paid and left but what a disaster in terms of customer service. We also noticed other customers complaining bitterly. Management obviously not interested in customer service.
