2 week old cellphone not working

I've had it with this shop. Purchased 2 cellphone's on the 17th of march. 1 started giving problems after a week which i contacted the shop to report but without a car it wasnt possible to return. They told me straight away that it must go for repair. After being send back and fourth between mtn and totalsports yesterday i just had enough. I contacted the national consumers comission on 012 761 3220 and a lady named letabo helped me and said its my right to get a new phone and that i must go back today (2 april) She still stated that it states in section 66 subsection 2 that its my right to get a replacement. I DO NOT HAVE TO SEND IT IN FOR REPAIR. Well, manager faizel was not in both days that i went and after phoning him from the store he still demand that it must come in for repair no matter what the consumer act say. i feel this is unexceptable. He promised to phone me tomorrow by ten, so i will wait patiently, but im not going to leave it there. When asking for his cell he stated that its personal. Im still sitting with this phone that i cant use. Unexceptable service. I wil be in contact with the ncc.
