2 yr old Samsung fridge still not repaired by Edcon's SOL Appliance Repairs, after 15 months. SOL made - 20 attempts to repair using 2nd hand parts and totally incompetent service. SOL removed fridge off-site on 28 11 12 against my wishes. No collection slip left as promised. Fridge returned on 8 12 12, doors totally smashed. I refused to accept fridge - sent conclusive proof to SOL and Edcon of original condition of fridge. SOL then produced a collection slip that was altered. In dispute ever since. After much litigation, I agreed to pay half cost for new doors. Paid R1131.45 into my attorney's trust account with conditional release of payment if fridge returned in original and working condition. SOL again demanded full pay up front, claiming no funds to buy new doors. This is a tactic by SOL to get all money up front. Paid 50% over to SOL's attorney. SOL refuse and insist on full payment. Another delay tactic by SOL and no guarantee of current condition of fridge. No fridge since 28 11 12. Edcon to intervene, compensate all costs and cost of loss of stock over the year and return fridge in original and working condition. 4th complaint, no assistance from Edcon. Help
