I went into pick and pay liberty midlands mall to purchase a dstv compact, at the till the cashier gave me a box from under the counter scanned the item and said this is on promotion, 599 - 350 = 249
Thrilled with my purchase as I walk out the store I look at the box it was opened and a receipt was inside, so the unit that I was sold was returned so I go back to the store speak to the person in front if the sashen who then takes the item and comes back with another guy who says that he can not give the unit as it was defective, so I replied saying exchange, so the gentleman says I'll do that but you have to pay 599, so my reaction was I want a swop out not a refund, so give it to me at what I paid for, they refused, they then called the manager zoolie who then comes with attitude, and says if the cashier told you that it is 249 then she will go into an enquiry and she can get fired for telling me that it was 249, she then refused to do anything about it but give me a refund, I did not want a refund I wanted the item at what I paid for, I didn't ask to pay 249 I was sold the item at that price, I want a new one at that price.
